Starting My Day Right (A Wordless Wednesday Post)

This week I am linking up for Miss DeCarbo's Wordless Wednesday!

Experimenting in the Classroom

To make sure I start my morning smoothly, I've learned my desk and table must be organized before I leave the night before. How do you make sure your mornings start smoothly?

  1. Hi Sarah,
That is an organized table! I've gotten much better at organizing my desk before I leave. It helps that my husband works from home now, so I don't have to rush to pick the kids up at child care. I also go through my plans and double check to be sure everything is ready for the next day. If it isn't, I get it ready or put it right on my keyboard so I can grab and prep first thing.

    1. Leaving anything that needs to be prepped on your keyboard sounds like a great idea! I'm going to use that!

  2. I agree--It's such a relief to walk into an organized classroom space! Not to mention being able to leave work and not have to think about it!

    1. It does make it easier once you've left. I'm a worrier so I always feel like something isn't done. This has helped!

  3. I totally agree about having your table organized before leaving! It is so nice to come in and have your things neatly organized in the morning! I use tubs from Lakeshore to keep materials in for each day of the week and I make sure I have everything in those tubs that I need for the next day before leaving school.

    1. The baskets are a fabulous idea! I do a similar thing with stackable trays. On the Thursday or Friday before I try to make sure I have everything I need for the entire week. I agree that it definitely makes mornings run more smoothly.
